Partner: The Fourth Sector Group advocates recognition of a new, fourth economic sector — in addition to the trio of public, private, and nonprofit sectors — comprising for-benefit enterprises that integrate profit with social and environmental purpose.

Project: Its COVID-19 Fourth Sector Response reframed “build back better” as a structural economic transformation, positioning for-benefit enterprises as a pathway to inclusive and sustainable growth. 

BSL Role: BSL co-developed and produced thought leadership — including op-eds, white papers, and presentations — articulating the Fourth Sector’s 2020 COVID-19 Response, a call to action. BSL was a long-time strategic advisor to this global multi-stakeholder platform for collective leadership and action, advocating for a fairer international economic system.
